I ignored so many negative reviews on other sites and purchased two chairs anyway. The wood is so light and thin. After taking the parts out of the box, I discovered that many pieces had already come apart, were broken, or splintering. These have to be some of the cheapest made chairs. I'm really afraid that one of my heavy relatives is going to break the arm or ottoman when trying to get up from the chair. Even though I got a really good price, it just wasn't worth the headache putting them together. When you have to use tools that weren't supposed to be required (i.e., glue, hammer, drill), that should tell you something. DON'T BUY THESE CHAIRS!
