The snug fitting lid has a thick gasket to keep odors from escaping, and the large handle makes it easy to carry this pail from one spot to another. It's dishwasher safe so cleaning is easy. A replacement set of charcoal filters is also included.

I just started using it, but I am very happy with the look and the size.
I was previously using a clear plastic container and always had to look at the garbage until it was brought out to the compost bin.
Now I can leave it on my kitchen counter and it looks nice sitting there.
The handle comes off so you can easily wash the container.
