Description
This Black Wrought Iron Log Holder is most unique in design. It is composed of two identical "U" shaped rails attached at the top by even bands of black wrought iron. Sitting snug inside the "U", rests a thin pan which prevents pieces of wood and bark from falling through onto the carpet or wood floor. It rests on two flat support beams which sit firmly on the ground.

This log holder does exactly what I need it to do...plus it holds a lot more than I thought that it would. My last fireplace log holder was a cheapie that fell apart. This one is not going to do that. It is not a designer model, but that wasn't what I was looking for. I wanted something sturdy and functional. The bottom of the basket is sheet metal and not canvas and it is attached to the frame securely using 6 screws. I know that I am not going to have to replace this log holder.
