This is a fun set. A little different than the one our friends play with. It's just as challenging though and a blast to play. One thing I would like to see would be more sets of balls for each color. Three is too few. They do give you an order form to but more though.
It's a nice set and they give you TWO ladders. You only need one to play so if you have two places that you play or if you and a friend want a set for each, it's easy to split up. I would suggest buying more sets of balls for more than two players.

Needs a scoring method, cheaper versions have sticker tape for poles with rubber rings to move as you score between 1 and 21. For the price, it should have some type of carrying case. Balls are like golf balls and are hard. Have played with softer balls and found it to be more fun and competitive. It does have a sturdy base which is what attracted me to it after researching similar games.

I only had it for one day--- has not been used however, the packaging of the product and mostly how the product was shipped was so poor that 3 boxes inside were destroyed and the "stakes" for the horseshoes went totaly thru the bag, and tore holes in another bag and box.... shippment was a total disaster .... items were inside a box with 3 feet to toss around .... found the stakes for the horse shoes at the very botton of the box which actually opened in shippment from poor packaging..... don't know that I would ever take a chance by ordering again...... where is quality control.......???
