Description
Make an impressive display of your tall plants or small potted trees with the Boise Cedar Patio Planter - Set of 2. These large, deep cedar planters offer spacious volume, wide sills on each side, and effective drainage due to pre-drilled drainage holes. Four block feet lift the planters off the ground to prevent soaking. To use, simply fill the planters with soil and plant directly inside, or set pre-potted plants inside - each planter can hold a pot up to 17 inches in diameter. Choose from two sizes; you will receive two planters of the same size.

I bought these planters for my Mom who is a senior citizen. Before using it for plants, I used outdoor wood stain to really make them eye catching on the front porch. My Mom lined both with black plastic bags (holes cut in bottom)before adding soil and plants. For added interest, I pushed in a solar powered light. So many people stopped and commented! Wonderful materials and construction.

They are so pretty I almost don't want to put them outside. They suggest you use potted plants or line the planter for longer life. After you see these you won't want to get them dirty!!!!!!

We think these look beautiful and will be used in a driveway display. We are likely buying at least another set, but of the smaller planters, for growing a vine on a trellis and a Meyer Lemon near walls inside the house. The frame around the top is lovely but does cut down on usable space if one wishes to put a couple of planters within them.
