First of all, it arrived in only 2 days. Very well packed with plenty of foam and padding. Unfortunately there was a slight ding in one corner of the main cabinet, but with a little dark stain you can't see it. The piece is very well constructed, the finish on the wood is beautiful. The instructions were very clear and the rack is sturdy and absolutey beautiful. It looks as if it cost much more. We were looking for something that wasn't scrolly and country looking. This has very clean lines and the finish on the metal is like a brushed pewter, very nice. The drawers are a big plus, not many bakers racks have drawers...BTW they are already filled. This is a great addition to any kitchen!! Lots of extra storage and attractive too!!

This is a beautiful piece that looks exactly like the photo on the web site. For the price it is exceptionally well made. After the order was placed it arrived within 7 days - exactly the date it was supposed to arrive per the order. The base and hutch top are in two boxes and each has its own hardware and set of instructions. [...]. The instructions are excellent and include clear descriptions and photos. It took my husband and me about 2 hours to put both pieces together and we're not handy types with tools! It really is a 2 person job given the weight of the pieces and how they go together. I knew the finish on this piece was a little darker than my kitchen table but I plan on using a tablecloth anyway. I use the bakers rack for storage (drawers), cookbooks, baskets with linens and potatos/onions and I hope to add a couple of plants and accessories to make it a focal point in my new kitchen. I couldn't be happier!
