The bowl is very elegant. I have purchased one in sm, med and lg. The lg bowl is on the heavy side, but if you have a bully dog like i do then it's a plus. Cleans easy. When purchasing just take into account the top of the bowl sits about 1 1/2 inches from the top of stand. The bowls are deep so the food tends to stay in the bowl and not be pushed onto the floor. I would recommend.
