I bought the small size for my 8 lb. cat to replace a cheaper bed that attracted hair and could not be washed. This bed/pillow is very plush and thick and I like the drawstring to change the shape. You cannot pull the strings too much or your pet could not fit inside due to the thickness of the material. I put a little catnip inside and my cat immediately snuggled up in it. It is very attractive and appears to be of high quality.
