We are having twins this time around so needed to order another car seat. We researched so much last time that we automatically went to Britax this time (and we wanted to make sure they fit into a BOB stroller). So we purchased a B-Safe car seat. They have made some improvements over our past seat. The rubber on the handle is VERY slip proof, our past one didn't have this. The buttons to move the handle bar back and forth push in easier so it's easier to move the bar back and forth. And there are also additional locking clips at the front of the car seat which secure the seat even better than our past seat. We like it so much we have decided to give away our old Britax and buy a second B-Safe car seat.

Overall, it is nice, quality & sturdy product. I loved the latch system. Unfortunately, straps are too short for your 11-month old son who weighs 18 lbs & is 29 inches in length. He outgrew his Graco Snugride car seat. I thought to buy this so he could stay in an infant car seat rear-facing for at least another 6 mos. Unfortunately, Britax doesn't sell longer straps. Another issue is that the level indicator of the car seat base keeps rattling when the car seat is not attached. It's very noisy & annoying. I could not standing driving my car with this constant rattling noise.
