The Broan/Nutone chrome medicine cabinet has a good quality white enamel paint on the inside and a simple chrome trimmed mirror. It was exactly what I was looking for, except that I would have liked the chrome frame to be more of a statement. It is quite narrow and thin. There is also a strange little detail joining the corner that seems a bit shabby, but it is not visible from the front. All-in-all, it is quite a step up from the materials in most cabinets in this price range and looks like it will last in a wet environment and be easy to keep clean.
We have not installed it yet, but it seems straightforward. One other thing I like is that it is a standard size and I can upgrade in the future without having to reframe my tile wall. I can't rate it for fog resistance or scratch resistance because the bath is not yet functional and I don't plan to try to scratch it. The glass shelf supports are pressed out of the metal body of the cabinet, so they won't break, but the ones that aren't used may turn out to be dustcatchers.

another reviewer said the trim on the one they received was white. Pull that white protective tape off to reviel the Chrome Finish. It's on there to protect the chrome finish while in transit or installation.!!

Needed a recessed cabinet to actually use as a medicine cabinet. This fits our needs perfectly. Arrived in a timely manner, well packaged. We thought the small chrome frame around the mirror would be silver, but it is white and we like this better.
