Description
Bushnell Marine porro prism binoculars are designed for the boating enthusiast in particular, but are also ideal for any demanding environment or application where rock-solid durability is required. The new model 137507 features an illuminated digital compass built into the viewing optics, with direction and bearing indicators tracking as you view. Bearings are called out in easy-to-read precise 1° increments, ideal for navigation and locating objects accurately. The digital compass delivers reliable accuracy anywhere in the world (both Northern and Southern hemispheres). A range-finding scale allows the viewer to estimate the range to objects of a known size.
The BUSHNELL MARINE is fully waterproof/fogproof and shock protected with suregrip rubber armoring, and has roll-down eyecups for use with sunglasses and prescription eyeglasses. The optics feature multi-coated lenses for excellent light transmission, along with a UV reducing lens coating and internal UV filter.

Comments about Bushnell 7x50mm Waterproof / Fogproof with Digital Compass Binoculars:
I wanted a quality pair with a digital compass to use for fishing that I would be comfortable using with eyeglasses at a reasonable price. They have exceeded my expectations. Wifey has enjoyed using them for birding and now I have to order a tripod so she can take pictures of what she finds with the binoculars.

Comments about Bushnell 7x50mm Waterproof / Fogproof with Digital Compass Binoculars:
I am a professional mariner and use binoculars daily. These Bushnell 7x50s are ideal for me on the water: great optics, light weight, etc. However, the battery (CR2 lithium) life is short, disabling the internal digital compass and its light. After three weeks, the product exhausted 3 [$] batteries (mostly while sitting idle in my seabag)! The product has been returned to Bushnell for evaluation, possibly faulty electronic circuitry, and repair or replacement.

Comments about Bushnell 7x50mm Waterproof / Fogproof with Digital Compass Binoculars:
Excellent tool for the professional mariner. Great light-gathering capacity, bright and easy focus, sharp image, plus other standard features (light weight, individually focusing lenses, water-proof, etc.). Lighted digital compass is a terrific feature. Have already recommended this 7x50 to several colleagues.
My only complaint is the short battery life. My OE battery died within 3 days of use while at sea. Bummer!
