never used a spotting scope before this one but very impressed. does the trick perfectly for sighting in on targets and not having to walk back and forth. can zoom up from very far away and still have quite good clearity

I purchased this product for my husband he is an avid hunter and we really enjoy showing our grandchildren the stars and stuff through it.

We live on a pond where loons nest on an island we built 10 years ago. That was when I got my first Sportview telescope to set up on the deck for a really intimate view of the whole nesting and loon family process. This is the second scope for us as it gets daily use all summer and one is not enough! Get one!
