You'd be hard pressed to find another umbrella at this size priced this well. The Key Largo 11 ft. Wood Market Umbrellas feature a solid wood pole with brass accents for extra durability. Eight ribs offer excellent support for the extra large, spun-polyester shades. Double-pulley lifts are easy to operate and provide comfortable shade in no time. These umbrellas are ideally sized for 54- to 72-inch patio tables. A 75 lb. stand should be uses for use through a table, and we do not recommend freestanding use. These umbrellas are not designed for commercial purposes.

Wood market umbrellas feature threaded coupling, premium multi-layer finishes, and a brass base sleeve to protect the pole base from moisture. Some wood umbrellas also feature decorative brass trim on the ribs and rotational tilt to expand afternoon shade.

I bought this umbrella to replace a similar umrella that served me well for 11 yrs until the mice nested in it during winter storage. This umbrella will probably not last 10 years as the covering is the more traditional fabric (they call it spun poly). I'm worried about how it will stand up to mold and sun damage. The pole at 1 3/8 inch diameter is substanial but smaller than my old umbrella, I hope that it holds up in the enevitable blow over. The pole is a screw together affair which makes storage much simpler and the fitting adds to the appearance. I hope that it isn't all corroded next year. The finihed pole and splines look great, again I hope that they hold up. The unnfinished teak pole on the old umbrella stood the test of time. The finial on top is plastic which I think is a good choice as my old wood one cracked from the heat. Overall this is a very nice umbrella.

These umbrellas are a bargain - got them for my patio at our vacation home and they are not only great coverage but also beautiful to look at the wood is dark which contrasts nicely with the cream color. We sat in a downpour one evening and they didn't leak. We do tie them down just so the wind doesn't send they flying.
