The quality of the bookcase we purchased was much better than we expected. It is all wood and the finish and color make it appear much more exspensive than the price we paid. Assembly was easy and directions clear. It also arrived ahead of schedule.

Disappointing. For the money I would have expected solid wood components instead of 4 mm paneling cut-to-size. Panelling also rendered the finish non-uniform, i.e. panels lack the sheen and depth. Assembly was challenging due to warpage (cupping) of rear panel. Also use of allen screws slowed the assembly.
