This box looks great and is certainly a good value. We bought five boxes, the larger one to replace some rotten redwood boxes we had. It was a surprise that they needed some assembly but not much. The problem was that of the five only one had capping that actually was installed by the factory in the proper place. We had to take at least one cap and two on two of them off by unscrewing and breaking the glue and then refitting after the box sides were together to get a proper fit. Without doing that the boxes would not have fit together. The caps were from 1/4 to 2 inches off. So best be a bit handy and prepared when buying these. [...] Now that they are done we are very happy

I was so happy to finally receive my planters, but my happiness didn't last long. After putting together the first planter, you could see how poorly it was cut and didn't fit together. After paying more then $100 for a planter, you would at least expect them to fit together!

I bought this product based on picture and reviews. The planter is easy to assemble but the corners are not flush. The wood is warped. The wood is thin and easy to split when inserting the wood screws into the pre-drilled holes. For the price, I was expecting a much higher quality product.
