Comments about Celestron 8x30mm Nature Porro Prism Binoculars:

This was an excellent choice for our safari. I wanted a balance between focal length, compactness, light weight, and price (preferred max budget $125 as we don't use them all the time). We also needed ones which would work well with glasses. Using an article by Chuck Hawkes, I settled on these Celestron 8x30 Nature Porro Prism Binoculars. I was modestly concerned because Hawkes indicated he'd only buy something he could physically handle before buying to test it's balance and feel in your hands but these are great on all counts. Good for me with my smaller hands and good for my husband with larger hands. Any focus difficulties I experienced had to do with my multi-focal eyeglasses, not the binoculars. The big annoyance is the loose lens caps that do not have any security straps but don't let that stop you from buying. Heartily recommend.

Neck strap is of poor quality and I'm disappointed as the binoc quality is very good. Easy to damage or lose if use the cheap strap.
