The Abbe condenser and Iris diaphragm let you control and concentrate the light. The mechanical stage has knobs to control both axes for easy centering of your specimen slides. All metal construction will stay strong and stable.

I'm going to use the microscope for my daughters' homeschool science curriculum. I see this microscope being useful through college as well.
