Which AstroMaster Telescope model best fits your needs?
If you're looking for a dual-purpose telescope appropriate for both terrestrial and celestial viewing, then the AstroMaster Series is for you. Each AstroMaster model is capable of giving correct views of land and sky. The AstroMaster Series produce bright, clear images of the Moon and planets. It is easy to see the moons of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn with every one of these fine instruments. For views of the brighter deep space objects like galaxies and nebulae, we recommend the larger aperture and light gathering ability of the Newtonian reflectors. This telescope has an aperture of 90mm.
The AstroMaster 90 EQ features a German Equatorial mount that will help you view stars, nebulae, star clusters, and planets. A built-in setting circle aids in locating these objects.
When used for astronomical viewing, AstroMasters yield breathtaking views of the Moon, Saturn with its ring structure, Jupiter and its belts and moons, nebulae and star clusters.

Comments about Celestron AstroMaster 90 EQ Refractor Telescope:
This was a gift from my wife for my 76th birthday.
I thought this was going to be a major undertaking,
but it proved me wrong. This is my second scope over
my lifetime. I'm setting down going through the instructions
before I go out here in Maine. We have the night sky, ocean,
and mountains to look at much closer than ever before.
Best gift ever . Larry Harr

Comments about Celestron AstroMaster 90 EQ Refractor Telescope:
I bought this telescope because my 5 year old loves outerspace, but I didn't want to go get some piece of garbage from [...] that has less power than my cell phone camera. I know nothing about telescopes, so I cant really compare this to others. However, if you are a first timer who wants to get into stargazing, but not quite sure what to buy, this is probably the route you want to go. It is relatively inexpensive, has enough powert to see real cool stuff up there, is easy to set up, and is pretty good quality. It is a little heavy, so Dad, you're going to have to carry it in and out for junior. Do your research and ask questions, but for first timers, I think this one is a good starting point.

Comments about Celestron AstroMaster 90 EQ Refractor Telescope:
I have owned this telescope for a few months. It's great! It's my first scope, when I first got it, I worried that it would be confusing to align, and after many nights of pointing and seeing whatever I could, I finally used a compass to align it. It couldn't be easier! I would like to buy more eye peices. You can just barely see some rings around Saturn, the Moon looks amazing, especially the terminator line. This is a perfect scope! Easy to use and it is very solid. I bumped the scope a couple times and it is in perfect working condition. No collimation needed yet.

Comments about Celestron AstroMaster 90 EQ Refractor Telescope:
Easy to assemble, watch the U Tube video, helps a lot. First nite great Moon details, then Jupiter and the 4 moons. Saturn to low on the horizon. Would like to see the slow motion cables longer, but with the E.Q. mount you have the flexibility to make them closer to the eyepiece.
