Your Celestron NexStar carrying case is designed to safely carry your NexStar 4/5/6 telescope as well as any Celestron 8" SCT/EdgeHD optical tube. The case is EVA molded to protect your telescope with a hard yet flexible shell. Your case also comes with a convenient storage zipper pocket that holds all your telescope's standard accessories with room to expand.
Inside the case includes two dense foam spacers and a built-in compression strap designed to customize the case for each telescope model. This 94003 model includes a durable Nylon handle for easy transportation.

I purchased this case at the same time I ordered the Nexstar 6SE bundle. The case is well constructed and the zippers are industrial grade. It comes with 2 pads to allow secure storage of Nexstar 4 or 5.
The case opens completely and gives you access to the top half which has another zippered compartment for storing other items such as power chords, usb cables, etc.
When packed up the case does seem a bit bulky, but remember what it's protecting, it's not something you want to take a long hike.
The tube and mount fit tightly into the case, which prevents it from shifting up and down. There is also a "seatbelt" to hold the tube in place to prevent lateral movement. All in all, I feel perfectly comfortable putting this in the backseat of my truck and driving to my favorite dark spots.

Very well made. Extremely protective, much better than toting around the box with foam. It was a very tight fit though for the 6. I'll have to work with it a while to get used to it.

Was really surprized as to how huge it was, but it looks as if carry most of the accessaries, except the tripod, of couse. I have a small luggage, two wheeled, hand truck that folds up, and the case fits just perfect, with the help of bungi cords. Have telescope, will travel. Charley
