The Smart Solar Ceramic Frog Solar Fountain is a green, glazed-ceramic solar-powered water fountain that will add enchantment to any setting. Water flows continually through the frog and into the bowl, creating a relaxing atmosphere in your garden, patio, or balcony. The low-voltage water pump and filter are powered by the included solar panel, which operates in direct sunlight. There is no wiring to run and no operating cost. Add in the one year warranty and your ready to simply set up and enjoy!
Special Note: Solar bird baths and fountains require plenty of direct sunlight to operate properly. Please be sure to have a sunny spot to place your bath or fountain. Also, the pump must never be operated dry (out of water). Dry operation permanently damages the pump.

If after time the pump starts to lose power or stops working you should check for the build up of sentiment or scale in the bottom of the pump housing. Carefully remove the solar pump unit and turn it upside down on a soft surface. Dry the solar pump connector and disconnect.
The solar panel should be cleaned periodically with a soft tissue and proprietary glass cleaning solution. Regular cleaning of the panel is advised to maintain optimum conversion of the sun's energy in the direct current.

The frog is ceramic and tooooo fragile. Due to other reviews, and the note enclosed that said inspect immediately because we will not replace after 24 hours, we opened it up and it looked fine. I gave this as a gift. The recipient called me a couple of days later when they were setting it up and said that they were inserting the tube in the bottom and the frog fell apart in their hands. There went big bucks [...]. I am VERY disappointed in this product. It is cute as heck, but that 24 hour check or no return policy just sucks. Unless you are buying it for yourself and intend to put it together the moment it is received--buyer beware!!!

The fountain arrived very well-packed. Although there are only a couple of steps to put it together, I found it a bit tricky to get the frog to fit over the pump spout. It was tough to twist it into place. Otherwise, the fountain is lovely, works great, sounds pretty, and is very well made. Love it.
