Caring for your Chef's Design Pressure Cooker
After each use, wash the pressure cooker and its cover, using a sponge or cloth with hot, soapy water, rinse in hot water, and dry. Do not put the cover in a dishwasher, as this may damage the safety valves. The lid gasket should also be washed with hot, soapy water, rinsed with hot water, and dried thoroughly after each use. For best results, apply a thin coating of cooking oil to the outside surface of the gasket. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on the exterior, which may dull the beautiful, high-gloss finish. Use cleansers or steel wool soap pads on the interior only to aid in the removal of food deposits. Always dry your pressure cooker thoroughly after washing and do not store the pressure cooker with the lid closed.
