The Home Styles Cherry Hills Hall Tree Bench makes a comfortable and decorative accent piece for entryways and foyers. It's made of solid wood and features a full, lift-top storage bench with plenty of room for clothes, boots, blankets, and more. The storage bench lid has a safety hinge to hold it in open position and prevent it from dropping down. The lid closes easily with a gentle push.

All in all I suppose it was what we expected. It looks ok but it looks like put together yourself furniture. All the pieces were there and clearly labled so assembly wasn't an issue. The bench seat is cracked and warped a bit,looks like the factory tried to fill the crack, but not very well, but for our needs and the price we'll live with it. It's sometimes sad how little money is worth these days, I mean it was still almost three hundred bucks, but hundreds of dollars cheaper than everything else we looked at. Then again, you get what you pay for. Expect a box full of imported furniture parts you screw together and you won't be disappointed.

The photograph of this hall tree bench makes the unit appear larger and taller than it actually is. I was quite surprised at the actual size of the unit. Quality of materials were average and some of the seams did not line up, leaving slight cracks between the wood boards. It is not as "rich" in person as it appears in the photograph. In person, it looks similar to furniture one can purchase at [@] or any other discount put-it-together furniture stores.

All wood.
Had a couple of flaws that had been patched on the back slats, however not noticable once it was assembled. You can flip it so the best side shows, had a couple of spots on both sides so the patched side looked the best.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was great. My deliverer brought it right inside for me.
Box had a couple of ripped areas but it was packaged very well so no damage.

This coat rack is being used in the front entryway for the kid's coats, shoes and backpacks. It is the perfect height and size for them. It looks nice and will hopefully last for several years. Thank you.

I put this in my foyer along side of a three tier shoe rack. It looks really attractive. I am a 60 yr. old, 120 lb. woman and I had no problem putting this together by myself. I assembled the storage bench(base)right where it would be put in the room, assembled the top part in another room but was able to lift it myself to place it on top of the storage bench before screwing the two pieces together. It was really easy and the instructions were great :)
