This traditional bookcase has a durable scratch-resistant finish to maintain its beauty and will accept the Half-Height Door Kit (sold separately) with one door in the lower position. Assembly is required for this piece, and it comes with a manufacturer's 6-year warranty. This product meets BIFMA (Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturer's Association) standards for safety and performance. Overall dimensions: 17.87W x 15.35D x 72.83H inches.

I was putting this together. It seemed simple enough. It is apparent that the instruction book was for numerous bookcases and you had to figure out which one you had. I was down to attaching the last piece and figured out that I had been sent the wrong piece. The hole did not line up. This piece had 6 screws and 2 did not line up. I chose to just "make do" with the bookshelf rather than unassembling the bookcase, packing it back up and returning it. Very disappointed for the price I paid.

I think it will be quite satisfactory when fully assembled. I thought the parts fit together very nicely and marvelled at the
the design and how the parts were attached to each other. The problem presented itself when I realized one side of the bookcase did not have the holes drilled into it. I was able to contact the manufacturer and a new side will be shipped to me tomorrow.
Here's hoping that it will work just fine and that there will not be any new problems to deal with. The original item arrived just 4 days after being ordered with free shipping.

In very bad shape when we received scratched, chipped had to use a furniture marker to try to cover horrible scratched corners. I will never order a bookcase or anything similar online.

I purchased two of these. One is still in it's packaging. I am not sure if I will ever find someone willing to help assemble it. The quality of this product is poor, the back is CARDBOARD, the rest is pressed particle board. The holes for the bolts don't exactly line up. The boards are not flush. It takes a very strong arms to shove things into place. This purchase was a mistake, I won't be buying any more products.
