The four sloped shelves, 36 inches wide and 6.75 inches deep, rest at a slight angle to ensure books don't slip off. The flat shelf has enough room to easily hold large items. You can choose whether you want the flat shelf to be positioned as the top shelf or the bottom shelf. Four furniture-style casters make moving the bookcase smooth and easy, too - just push the unit where you want it to go.

Constructed of durable, commercial-grade welded steel, the bookcase is strong enough for fine atlases, boxed files, and the thickest encyclopedias - anything that fits comfortably within the shelves' 12-inch clearance height. Several neutral powder-coat finishes fit into any design scheme, and the bookcase comes fully assembled so you can start using it immediately.
