This romper is beautiful in person and my son is 3 months old, very average size baby and the 0-3 month x-small size fits him perfectly. If your baby is 4 months or older it might be a bit snug. The silk fabric is a great lightweight fabric perfect for a warm spring or summer day, My son has a small to average size head and the hat also fits perfect. Very pleased with my purchase
