Hand-crafted out of solid copper, the pure Copper Umbrella Rain Chain is Japanese in origin where rain chains have been used for hundreds of years to break the flow of water with sweet-sounding elegance. The rain chain installs easily - simply place into your existing gutter system in place of unsightly downspouts. Each chain is over 8 feet long, but can be shortened or combined with another chain for greater length. Each cup on the Umbrella Rain Chain is shaped like an upside-down umbrella, allowing gentle flow of water from its scalloped edges. Natural copper will patina to a luscious, verdigris finish.
