OK- some QC issues, but comfortable

Assembly took longer than expected because I had to drill a couple holes in the rear uprights that should have been there, on both chairs. There were also some screws missing in the pre-assembled portion of the front uprights, where the arm rests bolt to.
Even though they were the cheapest I found on the interweb, I would expect to at least have all the holes drilled and the pre-assembled bolts included and actually installed.
Aside from that, The chairs are wonderful to use. A little narrower than some of the older Made in US Adirondak chairs I've used in the past, but adequate for most people I guess.

These chairs are attractive and comfortable and a great value. They are made of very light wood (probably immature pine) and I'm guessing that they won't hold up to exposure to the weather very well over time. However, at 1/4 the price of sturdier cedar adirondack chairs, who cares? I probably only would purchase them for a covered deck, though, if you want them to last more than a year or two. Assmebly is easy and they are well designed. Overall, a great value.

Could not be happier with the chairs we purchased. I have never written a review before, but after getting these chairs I felt I needed to let others now what a bargin. My husband works for a wood manufacturing co. in the quality dept. After his thorough inspection, he was quite impressed with the overall contruction and finishing of the chairs. They were easy to put together, and look geat.

This is a great chair. It arrives pretty well sanded, but requires a large amount of time to paint or stain properly. Once this process is done, the building is a snap. Keep in mind that the overall build quality of the chair is only as good as the person doing it... If you get everything nice and tight, the chair is very solid and should provide many years of enjoyment!

Got this at the end of last season for a good price. Didn't put it together until this spring. Went together easily, but the legs aren't level and the arm connections come apart very easily. There are no nuts to keep the screws secure. I'll have to find some that fit to add to the screws.
