Costa del Sol Barcelona Stateroom 3 Drawer NightstandItem#: HN-STAN2728
$879.00 to $1,278.00
Nightstand, Marble top (optional)
The Costa del Sol Barcelona Stateroom 3 Drawer Nightstand doesn't just stand - it stands out, with its elegant European influences. Tall enough for today's deeper mattresses but never overwhelming your decor, this nightstand is crafted of a durable blend of maple, mahogany, and select hardwood solids.
Spanish Revival style is alive and well in the curl-cut base, fluted edges, and column sides. The three drawers are accented with knob-pull and drop-front ring hardware, specially forged in antique-flamed brass. The distressed Dark Woodtone finish truly shines on the walnut, hickory, maple, and burl veneers. Some simulated wood components are also used on select items in the Costa del Sol collection, for extra strength and durability.
And you can top this nightstand off any way you please. A wood-polished top comes standard, but you can also choose to add the Emperador marble top. You'll find hairline cracks and little mineral variations throughout for a natural, timeless appeal.
The Costa Del Sol Collection
From Portugal's white-washed beaches to Greece's sparkling azure waters, the Costa del Sol collection blends traditional styles from Europe's southern sea coast with alluring Spanish scrolling and decadent, carefree charm of a Tuscan country house. Old-World wood grain is brought to vivid life with rustic mid-tone finishes or hand-rubbed dark coffee colors, buffed to a soft satin glow. Authentic distressing techniques like burnishing, cow-tailing, and axe marks enhance the well-loved heirloom appearance of each item in this matching collection.
Stanley Furniture Craftsmanship
Stanley Furniture's main objective is to produce quality and stylish furniture by using the best wood materials, construction procedures, and elegant finishes on their products to help you fashion your home decor the way you imagined. All of their furniture is hand-crafted from quality woods, incorporating other superior materials such as aluminum, glass, plastic, leather, and marble. Every joint is carefully constructed (keeping wood's sensitivity to heat and humidity in mind) allowing for expansion and contraction. All joints are held together with glue and nail.
Stanley's 30-step finishing process starts with an undertone stain that is applied to a hand-sanded piece. Next, the stain is sealed with a wash coat, then hand sanded again with filler applied to pack the wood pores and smooth out the surface. A sealer coat is then applied, the piece is hand sanded again, and hand padded to mellow the tone. From there, a luster glaze is rubbed on by hand, followed by antiquing or distressing also done by hand. Finally, after drying, each piece is hand waxed and rubbed prior to final inspection.
