I purchased it for the sole purpose of viewing the detail of a very large world map, but having no variation vis-a-vis magnification makes the device of little use for my purposes.

I opened the net asked for opera glasses, liked the look, the price and most of all that there was no shipping charge. Would order more often on the net, but the shipping is a killer.
