I don't like people to wear shoes in my home so this was perfect for my doorway. Shoes fit nicely into the cube and I can place socks/slippers in a basket for beneath in one section. PROBLEM...the assembly instructions state 12 minutes. Took me over an hour because the instructions were terrible and I had two mis-labeled parts. Numbers, letters and lines all over the place but no guidelines...just 4 unclear photos. I am one of those DIY folks so I never struggle but this was pretty poor.

Bench is attractive and looks as pictured in the photo. Cubbies are a good size for baskets or other storage. However, my husband complained that the instructions were terrible and that it was difficult to assemble. He is very handy so that's saying a lot. Also, two of the screws that came with it broke as he was screwing them in (cheap metal) so we're not sure if that's going to affect the product's durability.
