I was a bit nervous ordering something like this sight unseen. Nonetheless, it arrived early, was protectively packaged from top to bottom (including being strapped to a wooden pallet) and was in perfect condition. The handles were easy to install with the supplied screws. The look and feel is very solid and it's great to know it's American made. If this is what you're looking for in a file cabinet, I'd highly recommend it.

I specifically needed a file cabinet to file legal sized papers. I asked the telephone representative repeatedly if this file cabinet filed legal sized documents and was assured by the representaive, who claimed to be an expert on office equipment, it did.
I received the file cabinet that only files letter size, and the bottom drawer was broken.

We bought these to match a desk. The quality is high - all wood construction. We bought 3 of them and none of them came with the hardware needed to hang legal files (although they were listed as accomodating letter and legal in the product description). When we notified filingcabinets.com we recieved (several weeks later) enough parts for one of the 3 cabinets we ordered. Yesterday I requested parts for the other 2 cabinets EXPEDITED. The representative said she'd 'email the dealer' for us.

This was purchased to replace another wood filing cabinet that I had purchased just a few years ago. This time, I decided to spend the money and get a nice piece of furniture and this is no disappointment. It was exceptionally well packed for the journey. Once out of the box, I could not help but appreciate the fine work that went into crafting it.
