Comments about Zeiss Design Selection 8x20B T DS Monocular with Pouch:
I've used this sturdy monocular since my first backpacking trip to Philmont in 1997. The optics are still sharp and unclouded. Like the other reviewer, the strap broke, but Zeiss repaired it at no charge. It's a fine substitute for bulkier, heavier binoculars, and I routinely take it when traveling.

Cons
- The strap broke quickly
Best Uses

Comments about Zeiss Design Selection 8x20B T DS Monocular with Pouch:
The vision in each of my eyes is markedly different from that in the other. I can only use binoculars if I close one eye. The monucular is a perfect solution in the opera house and theater. The quality is superb.
