This is a tall lamp, substantial in size and has the look of fine furniture, exactly as pictured. Arrived 2 weeks sooner than projected, in perfect condition.

Even though it is a very nice lamp shade, it just doesn't go with this lamp. The lamp is black, brown with a little gold for accent. This shade is a light beige. I went out and bought a black shade and it looks much nicer. If I may, I'd like to suggest that the manufacturer change out the lamp shade to a black or dark brown. Overall I'm very happy with the lamp. It's very tall and seems to be well made. Very pretty lamp. Except for the shade I'm very happy with it.
