It has an 11inch diameter cage that allows small birds to go through its wide openings but stops squirrels and larger birds like starlings and grackles. A clear dome top protects the feed from the weather and provides additional squirrel protection. The tube is made of UV-stabilized polycarbonate which remains undamaged by sun exposure.
