Overall clock looks good - case is decent quality, what I expected for the price. Works fine but parts I expected to be metal were cheap plastic and what I thought were glass were thin plexiglass. Also I have never had a clock that did not strike on the hour. It only plays the chimes, so I have no idea what hour it is unless I am looking at it. I thought the purpose of chiming clocks was to sound the hour as well as sounding beautiful. I placed it on a tall cabinet, it looks nice. I would not want anyone to be able to touch it because the quality would be readily apparent. The description was misleading and I don't believe the front and side panels are glass, they are very thin and feel and sound like plexigass when tapped. The back is plexiglass, but works well there for removal.Because of where I put it, I kept it but I would not purchase it again.
