I got one to use in my beauty shop. I liked it so well I ordered another one for my kitchen to use to cook, etc. I have a bad knee and I can use this stool for all my work. It is a beautiful stool and made very well.

Since my friend's dishwasher broke she has to stand at the sink to wash dishes. With bad knees this has become an issue. She was using a dining roon chair which was way too low, so I thought to buy her a kitchen stool. She was so excited when I brought it in, that she sat right down and washed dishes. It's perfect! Received on time. Very pleased with the wine color, which I was a little concerned about since I couldn't see a product color on-line when I ordered. Fortunately, it's a perfect match with the rug. Buyer be forwarned, the wine color is a mixed but muted marble wine color mixed with black. These are a great complement to my vintage 50's table, and I'm doubly pleased that the wine color not only matches the rug, but the trim ring on the table. The stools are nice and sturdy, and I put them together in less than 5 minutes each. They swivel, but not easily enough that my 5 year old has figured out there is a new toy to entertain himself with. I recommend these retro stools!
