It is always tricky ordering furniture online. I was redoing my 17-year-old son's bedroom and he needed a small bookcase that matched his natural wood platform bed that fit in a specific space. The measurements of the Fiona foldable shelf bookcase were good and it looked like it would match the wood. I was so pleased when I received it (in about five days) that it really was nice hardwood. The assembly instructions were easy and I put it together myself in about half an hour. It is well-made and sturdy. The natural wood is perfect for his room. I don't know if we will ever use the collapsible feature, but it will be easy to move or store if that becomes necessary. I could not be happier with this purchase.

I bought two of these bookcases - the wood is clearly of pretty good quality for the price. However, as I started putting the first one together, it became obvious that either the wood screws provided are too big or the pre-drilled holes are too way too small. Also, the allen heads on the screws are way too shallow. Consequently, you can't get enough torque on the allen wrench provided without stripping it all to heck - yes, I mean the wrench not the screws. I have a nice allen wrench set - that one is useless as well because of how small the holes are. I've been unsuccessful finding a 4mm allen bit for my drill, so I'll probably have to replace the screws in order to get these put together. Consider yourself warned.

Standard shipping arrived sooner than expected and in good condition.
Was easy to assemble, took less than half hour. Placed on appropiate sized table to assemble bookcase. Took supplied allen wrench and cut it to fit variable speed drill. All the screws went in easily and all the holes were correctly sized and placed. Very pleased with finished product, though I feel the finish could have been better sanded.

This is a beautiful bookcase of real wood that looks exactly like the photo,and even better.The design and finish are great.The only problem with it is that the assembly was really hard(and should not be done by one person)and the main issue was the screws were hard to screw tight with the provided hardware and at the end my hands were swollen and hurt after struggling to tighten everything.As a result after assembly the bookcase is kind of wobbly and not as sturdy as it can be...I still haven't tested it really with books so I'm not sure how it will perform. Nevertheless it is a really beautiful piece of furniture...and if the assembly was not so hard I would have bought a second one immediately without hesitation.
