The description that it was multi layered fire hose material sold me. However, the dog must not have read that! Tore it apart in less than 30 minutes.

My dog got the stuffing out but i removed it all and the outer core is still afun tough toy for him to chew on and play fetch with himself. Have another one in tact that works great for tug.

My dog loves this toy! He is still a puppy, however, and still in that chewing stage. Within a few minutes he had shredded parts of the toy near the seams. But the seams have amazingly held!

I thought since this was made from fire hose material it would be pretty durable. My weimer had it about 5 minutes and already chewed a hole in it and the stuffing started coming out. It would depend on the dog as far as my recommending it.
