We have it in an open corner of the master-bath suite with a draping-type plant on top and it looks great. Adds a warm, serene feel to this oversized bathroom and matched our earth-tone color scheme perfectly. This is a very nice looking fountain and I have it in my office. It is easy to set up and the pump is quiet. I put a plant on top that cascades down the sides. My problem with it is that I have had inconsistencies with the flow of water and where it goes. I have to turn it up high enough to get a good flow, the water starts out really fast and squirts out over the edge for a few minutes so I put a piece of paper in front of it and then the water will slow down after a few minutes and I can remove the paper. If I turn the pump down lower then it makes way too much splashing noise because the water doesn't flow enough and it splashed too loud. Also the little flow holes need to be positioned better so they can't squirt over the edge, they are inconsistent and at different angles. I have one of the holes plugged today because it is hitting the water funny and making too much splashing noise. This might be a better fountain for out doors rather than in an office.

I thought I'd update my review last year to let you know that I am still using my fountain and have enjoyed it very much. I have to fill it up quite a bit, but it is likely because I live in Arizona and it is simply evaporating because there has never been any leakage at all. I bought a bottle of algae conditoner mentioned by one of the other reviewers online and put a teaspoon in once per week or so and have never had a problem of any sort with it.

Made of heavy plastic, looks ok in the yard on the patio, drips outside of fountain slightly, sound of water is sort of soft, holes could be bigger, light could be brighter.

the fountain arrived and was not as dark as the color shown, but still very nice. everyone is individually stained, so if your flexible it looks great in all shades..i set my fountain in a nook in the wall, and noticed some splashing, which wouldn't work in the area. you can adjust the flow, but i added some decorative rocks into the flow area, adjusting them as to totally stop the splashing. by adjusting the rocks, i controlled the splashing and the fountian noise level, so you control what works for you. if you set it up in a open tile area, a little splashing might not bother you. i was very happy with the fountain, and with a little effort, you will to. the light makes the slate glimmer, and looks incredible at night. i recommend this fountain to everyone, its awesome!

Delivered quickly, opened box and fountain was surrounded in styrofoam. Easy to assemble. Very peaceful and zen like. Have it in my yard and looks very natural. Can't wait for my July 4th BBQ and see what family and friends say. Thank you Hayneedle, have enjoyed everything I've pruchased from you. My next purchase will probably be a glider.
