We selected this model for its size, to put on a chairside table near the TV. We use it for locating places in the news and to help with crossword puzzles. Some of the lettering is small so we attached a magnifying glass on a cord. This is something we were willing to do in order to save space. It is a good looking globe, in colors that work with our decor.

Beautiful globe at a great price. The wooden base is absolutely gorgeous and the antique color of the globe makes it an exquisite addition to our home. The only qualm I have is that it is very light so be careful when spinning it.
