Once assembled, this desk is gorgeous. We love the little board for the CPU as it prevents overheating due to the carpet. It is separate from the desk so it can be put anywhere.
The desk comes in many many pieces, it took one whole day to assemble it. But the end product was sooo worth it.
I strongly recommend thoroughly reading the instructions (several times) before assembling it. They consist of mostly drawings but if they are studied closely and carefully, they are easy to follow. However don't put the drawer faceplates on the drawers until you are done as it is hard to get them aligned. Also, it is easier to attach the top with the desk upright instead of upside down as the instructions recommend.
I only have two complaints: one is that the desk has to be put against a wall as the rear is unfinished particleboard.
The second is that the Bestar packaging is not very good. There is no protection between the boards and no protection whatsoever on the sides. Several of the boards arrived slightly damaged as the box almost disintegrated during shipping and evidently the side had been hit on some sort of corner. The pack is also very heavy.
By the way, Bestar calls this line "legend" instead of "garson".

I like this computer desk very much. However the side corner of the keyboard tray was "nicked" when I got it. So you can see the missing brown color at the end of the slide out tray. And the bottom drawer is off by just a bit. It does not match up with the top drawer. We tried to fix it, but to no avail. The drawer is just a bit too big. Other than that I like this desk.
