My granddaughters, ages 6 & 9, have been asking for a house/hotel/castle for their Barbie size dolls for a couple of years. I just did not want to pay what they ask for the plastic ones. This is a sturdy wood doll mansion that all of their 11" friends can enjoy. It was a gift for the two of them to share. My 9 year old told me that this is the best present that she has ever received.

I was originally going to buy the majestic mansion and that was impossible so after was the lights and sounds dollhouse and it was just sold out so I went with this one and thought it was probably less sturdier and just more colorful but I was definitely wrong. It is very sturdy and bigger than imagined. it took my brother and I 45 min. to assemble and very easy. I called to order and that was pleasant and quick also. The only little bother to me was that when assembling you like to look at the picture of the house and make sure it's exactly what it's suppose to be but the pieces comes in a box with a black line picture on the box which didn't show exact detail but I brought my laptop down and pulled it up and it reassured me and helped. It's a birthday present for my four year old daughter and I have to hide it until tomorrow and it's so hard to because I know how excited she's going to be and I want to play with her already! It's a fabulous buy, don't hesitate.
