We live in a twin home and I needed a narrow bench for the entrance hallway. This one is perfect! It fits in fine with our oak woodwork. The color is a diffent red than pictured..it's more burgundy. But no complaints...it's a rich color. I can think of no complaints. As far as I'm concerned this bench has a 5 star rating.
Service and delivery comments:
I give this dept 1 star. I ordered the bench on April 10. When it wasn't here on the 14th of May I called customer service and also sent an email wondering about it. Five days later it was delivered. So customer service was great once I contacted them, but I guess something must have gone wrong with my original order. I was ready to cancel the order but so glad I didn't.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

My wife and I love the simple farm look of this bench, and the fact that we can store hats and gloves in it. I'm not sure how well the pine wood will hold up over time. It's not meant to support a large amount of weight, so it would seem wiser to make it out of a hardwood like poplar. [...]
