I like to think of myself as a guy that seeks out comfort. Being over six feet tall, and weighing as much as I do, puts a lot of stress on my joints, so finding a chair that falls within my price range, and is still comfortable, is often difficult.
Most of the time, I find myself sitting in chairs that are either too stiff, too shaky (due to my higher than average center of gravity), or the back is too short. These are the moderately nice office chairs I'm talking about, not some upholstered thing.
I can't remember the last time I was this comfortable in a chair. Well, that's a lie, but the chair I'm thinking about was at least three times more expensive!
The best thing about it has to be the way you can recline in the thing, put your feet up, and not feel like a strong breeze will knock the thing over. Seriously, my friend has accidentally bumped into the side at speed and it remained rock-solid steady.
I did have some trouble assembling the thing though. Nothing that wouldn't have been solved with a second person helping.
Another complaint I had initially was the amount of force required to put of the foot rest. Over time, however, that problem has lessened significantly. I don't think I'm doing anything differently. Perhaps the mechanism was tight having come from the factory? Regardless, it's almost effortless now (two weeks into the purchase).
The only other con is that with the base exposed like that, I think it doesn't really work aesthetically unless its next to a desk or something, and the lack of wheels makes getting into and out of said desk a chore. Also, the thing is difficult to get through door ways fully assembled.
I would seriously recommend that people give this chair a good long looking at if you are interested in a comfortable, sturdy, and all around awesome place to sit. The flipping arms of the thing are even perfect for using an optical mouse!

This is an update to my initial review which is yet to be shown.[...].In addition to previous comments; (the seat being hard as a rock, mechanism stiff and difficult),the chair rocks sideways & back and forth giving one little confidence in the sturdy department. There's a one-inch space between the arm and seat on one side(the other arm rest is flush with the seat)through which daylight pours. Can't tighten it as the screws attach the arm from underneath, not from the side. For those who cannot reach the recliner handle from a seated position and you're agile, I suggest that you raise the footrest BEFORE sitting which involves just swinging your leg over the narrow flap.I've taken a chance with some much higher ticket items online (plasma TV's, computers, etc)with no problems and total satisfaction...guess I was due for a clunker. If it wasn't such a hassle, this chair would have been returned.

Comments about Coaster Leatherette Swivel Recliner:
I purchased this chair to put in my guest bedroom that is most used by my mother when visiting. It looks fabulous and fits perfectly into the corner of the room. It is not leather but the material is soft and comfortable. It takes a little muscle to pull the lever, but I am hoping it will get easier in time. I would not put this chair in my living room, but it is fantastic for a den or bedroom.

Comments about Coaster Leatherette Swivel Recliner:
The chair was sent in an opened box on both ends. The left slide rail was screwed off the seat and the washers were lose in the plasic wrapping. The chair does not recline back very far and the leg lift is not very well constructer. Overall, the chair is cheaply constructed and just not what I expected. The chair looks great once assembled but that's the extent of it. If it did not cost to send it back I would send it back ASAP.
