Hammary Furniture Company, a division of La-Z-Boy Incorporated, offers a variety of styles in occasional tables, home office, casual dining, and bedroom. Hammary products are available in the United States and Canada, as well as other countries.
Hammary Furniture Company was started in October 1943 by Hamilton Louden Bruce. The name "Hammary" derived from Hamilton's name and his wife's name, Mary. Mr. Bruce leased a small space and hired two helpers to begin production of canvas lawn chairs. In late 1947, Mr. Bruce began manufacturing occasional tables, and the company expanded from there.
