Confusing Instructions

The packages arrived intact but there was no specific instruction sheet for this particular bed. Extra hardware was included as if all bunk bed sets are packaged the same.
The bedset itself was good quality and all in all a nice product.

Worst Experience Ever!!!

I'm not even sure where to begin! First, my order arrived 4 days late. My sons had been sleeping on mattresses on the floor because we had already gotten rid of their beds (May 19th)Like so many others have stated we were missing pieces. It took one week and six calls to customer service to get this problem "resolved." I was told we'ld be shipped the missing pieces and they would be delivered FedEx. Two weeks later I receive an emial stating Pilot would be contacting us to deliver the product. What happened to FedEx because of our inconvenience? " You were missinformed the manufacture does not and can not ship out using FedEx." Now we wait two days for Pilot to contact us and another day for them to deliver; however, Pilot is given the wrong address from Hayneedle! Somehow my original order gets to my home alright but the second one is sent to the wrong address? Hayneedles response is " I understand your frustration but you will have to wait for Pilot to contact you and reschedule." Ok, so it takes Pilot two more days to get to my correct address and guess what............... I'M MISSING THE SAME PIECES!!!! My sons have been sleeping on the floor since May 17th thanks to Woodcrest and Hayneedles lack of customer service. Today (June 15th)I received a credit of my full purchase but they cannot make up for the my frustration, headache, time spent on the phone and son's disappointment. I will never buy from either companies again. Beware if your missing pieces most likely they will never come its incomplete and nobody knows what they're talking about. Complete waste of your time and energy.

    Like the layout of this bunk bed ensemble, but would be much happier if I could get all the parts so this ensemble could be assembled.

    Service and delivery comments:

    Can't believe what I have been put through as a first time customer. My order was initially accepted and confirmed and then I began receiving notices that parts of it were not available, so were cancelled. Then after finding a customer service rep who went above and beyond, I was able to reorder and received a confirmed shipment date. The bunk bed ensemble arrives (gift for my four year old grandson) and lo and behold, parts are missing, so this ensemble cannot be put together. One phone call in which I was told a response would be provided in two working days and another email have produced no results. So I have been charged for a product that is totally useless until the missing parts can be provided and have a very disappointed grandson.

    So I get my delivery 3 days late, then while I am trying to assemble the bed I find that major parts are missing. I call customer service and they can't find what parts I am missing by descriptions, he says they have to identify them by box weight and size. I then call the manufacture to see what parts i am missing. i then call hayneedle back, and of course, spoke to someone different. He apologizes, says that he will order the parts and that i should call next week if I have not received the parts. Guess what, i called and the parts were not ordered. by this point i am furious!!!! The lady kindly solved by problem but now I have to wait another 3 weeks before the missing parts MAY arrive. Needless to say, my son has been sleeping on the floor for 2 weeks now and by it is all said and done it will be 5 weeks. 5 weeks to get all the parts to but together a bed! what a joke! i will never order from them again.

    Five boxes were shipped to me but only four have arrived. Pilot claims they know where the other box is. Unfortunately without the other box I have not been able to put the bed together. My hope is that it will show up sometime and that I will be able to put the bed together. Then I would be able to write a reference.

    Service and delivery comments:

    As I previously noted the delivery arrived when it was up those to the but one the box was missing. It is lost somewhere in the system and the hope is that it will show up soon. Not impressed with the follow-up Pilot.
