I bought the cage for my 9 year old last year. With in the first 2 weeks I had to repair the net several times. The poles are week and flimsy they could hardly hold the net up.

I just bought the batting cage and it's been working great for backyard use. Easy to setup and use. I did have to tie the top to a high anchor to get it upright but other then that everything else was fine.

After one week of usage the are 10 holes in the net around the machine. I have to buy a replacement net infront of the machine to stop holes. The net is very week.

The picture looks like 1" or 2" diameter poles. Truth is, the poles are less than a half inch in diameter. They pad the poles with foam to make them look larger than they are. The net was very light, I'll be luck to get a year out of this thing.
