About 4-Point Tubular Locking Mechanism
Hmc High Security Tubular Locking Mechansims (one towards the top of the door and one towards the bottom of the door). When key is turned to lock the safe, a durable steel locking bar and plate secures the door at two separate points. Example: when key is turned to lock the upper portion, a durable steel bar secures the top of the door for Point 1. And the plates secure the side of the door at the lock location for Point 2. When the key turned to lock the lower portion, a durable steel bar secures the bottom of the door for Point 3 and the plate secures the side of the door at the lock location for Point 4.

Each cabinet is manufactured with pre-drilled holes for mounting to the floor. The four bolt mounting hardware is included with each cabinet for installation.

[...]Cabinet MUST be securely mounted to a wall BEFORE use, otherwise it will topple over when you open it due to its small footprint. Amazing that it can accomodate 6 long rifles and other stuff with ease. VERY impressive locking mechanism- No cheap Ace-Keyholes here.- double inside locking bar provides a virtually pry-resistant door.AGAIN, THE MORE SECURELY YOU MOUNT THE CABINET TO YOUR WALL, THE BETTER THE CABINET WILL PERFORM - I cement-glued a piece of 3/4" Plywood the width and height of the cabinet to a load bearing wall in my home. 5 toggle bolts project out from the glued surface through the board (the board was also bolted to the wall while drying)- The cabinet was then mounted to the toggle bolts flush up against the board.- I added 1 hole to the 4 that the cabinet already has punched out.- Even Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't riping this puppy out so easilly...

Homak 6-Gun Steel Gun Cabinet
Good cabinet for the money. It does the job. I only have a few guns so there was no need to buy a big old fancy gun safe. This works fine

Comments about Homak Security Homak 6-Gun Steel Gun Cabinet:
This the quite possibly the best cabinet you can buy at this price point. Excellent for those with a small collection and looking to secure them from curious hands. It's deeper than I had anticipated but once mounted securly to the wall, it conceals nicely in the back of a closet corner. Assembling the foam and the brackets can be a bit annoying, but it's quick. My only wish would have been for a mechanical combination lock rather than the two hole key system, but . . . it is what it is. Like I said, for what you pay and what you get, this cabinet is all but perfect.

Comments about Homak Security Homak 6-Gun Steel Gun Cabinet:
Haven't installed it yet, but it came on-time and was packed well - no dings or anything. Good solid-feeling cabinet that should work well for me. The top shelf will need some customizing to make it more useful, and I might look for a alternative for the stick-on foam, but it seems a good value.

Comments about Homak Security Homak 6-Gun Steel Gun Cabinet:
Well I can lock my long guns, but there is no place to put a handgun. The shelf is not really a shelf, its like a metal bracket that's only wide enough to hold a box of ammo, since it does not go all the way to the back of the cabinet. I supose thats so you can store your 50"+ guns, like maybe if your en elephant hunter. So if you want to lock up handguns as well as long guns this may not work out so well. The foam is a joke. Its very hard to put in because it is cheap and the paper is hard to get off the back. Then it wants to stick to your hands, which tears big chunks of the foam away.
Like I said, you get what you pay for.
