We bought the Homestead not expecting it to be nearly as gorgeous as it turned out. It's such an attractive piece that I find myself checking it out more than I do our brand new 55-inch TV! The quality was unexpectedly good as well; each piece is quite solid and the cabinet holds our Dish system, Surround sound system, Blu-Ray, plus three video game systems.
It was a beast to put together, though; I'd recommend two people as the pieces are very heavy. The only down side is that we had to add an additional magnet to the left cabinet because it wouldn't quite reach and connect the way it was made. This problem was negligible, but still a little frustrating as you want it to look perfect after all the hours spent trying to put it together. All in all, though, you can't go wrong with this piece. It's just beautiful.

Totally DISATIFIED. The TV stand has needle pins holes all over the cabinet. The tighten screws didn 't work. The stand sits in my living room held up with glue, afraid to move it for fear it might fall apart. I could've and should've returned it but the thing weights a ton and I didn't feel like hauling the darn thing all over the place to UPS or Federal Express to return it. I should've went with my gut feelings at first when I saw the old and decrepted boxes that this was going to be a nightmare. The boxes looked like they had been in storage for decades. Sorry Hayneedle....never again.

This piece required assembly which I have done many times before with other furniture. There was a missing shelf which prevented assembly. When contacted, the manufacturer said it would be 7-10 days before I would receive the missing shelf. The parts I could assemble had missing "pre-drilled holes" which I had to drill and had misaligned pre-drilled holes which I had to drill.
The wood finish was suppose to be warm oak, but it was more like a dark oak, several shades darker than the photo on the website.
