I chose the free shipping and was very surprised by how quickly I received this table. It was ordered on Feb 13 and delivered on Feb 15.
My purpose is for a "small conference" table for my office and it fit the bill perfectly. One review said it had to much red in the color which prompted me to take a chance that it was was darker colored than the picture. It blends in very nicely with the rest of my office furniture and the size is exactly what I need. I can use it normally as a small table and can add the leaf for a bigger table if needed.
When unpacked you have only three easy to move pieces that had the remaining parts attached. This makes it easy for one person to handle which was very important to me because I had it shipped to my home and was then able to unpack it and transport to my office with out having a bunch of small pieces to deal with. I would highly recommend this very nice table for what ever use you want it for.

It took us several hours to put this table together, partly because i had to go to the hardware store to pick up washers that didn't come with it. Once we turned it over, we realized that the table had marks on it. The additional piece also had a marred finish.
Frankly, it would be far too much trouble to take it apart, put it back in the box and return it. Sorry, there is no way this could be rated "easy."
We will put a tablecloth over it and live with it, but I am not at all happy with the quality of the merchandise, and it will be my last purchase from Hayneedle.

I bought this for a work table in my office - a place I could spread things out on. It's sturdy and a piece of cake to put together. Not the very best quality out there, but a good value for what I needed.

Just what I was looking for - really like being able to get a small table with an extension. Color was not as expected (reason for only 4 stars). Definitely looks more like a light cherry than oak! Very easy to put together.
